Video production in Cairo, in our own studio

Most production companies in Cairo book a studio when they need one. We are the studio, which changes two things: the room costs you nothing extra, and nobody is waiting on someone else's availability.

UNO Production works out of El Mokattam, Cairo, seven days a week.

What we shoot

  • Product video — on a clean background or a built set, for e-commerce and ads
  • Corporate and brand film — the company, the team, the thing you make
  • Interviews and talking-head content, one camera or three
  • Social and short-form, shot in batches — see reels production
  • Green screen, when the background has to change — see chroma

And outside the studio: events and launches, real-estate projects, clinics and doctors, interior design, construction. Those are shot on location — see below.

How a production works here

1. The brief. What it is for, where it will run, how long it needs to be. Usually over WhatsApp, and in a call or a meeting when the job is big enough to need one.

2. The shoot. In the studio, with our crew. Two crew come as standard.

3. The edit. Cut, colour, sound, titles, and the versions you need per platform. See video editing

4. Delivery. Over Google Drive, in whatever formats and sizes you need.

Or take only the parts you need

Everything here is sold separately, which is unusual and worth saying:

Rates for each on the prices page.

In the studio, or wherever the thing actually is

Two ways this works, and the only difference is where the camera stands.

In the studio, you buy hours. Published rates, no quote, nobody in the middle — see the prices page.

On location, you buy a project. We travel about 30 km from the studio: events and launches, real-estate projects, clinics and doctors, interior design, construction — the work that cannot be moved into a room. That is priced per project rather than by the hour, because the day depends on the place. Tell us what and where and you get a number.

Same crew either way, same edit, same people answering the phone.

Questions people ask

How much does video production cost in Egypt? The room and crew are 1,500 EGP an hour, or 8,100 for a half day and 12,000 for a full day. The edit is 300 per reel or 1,000–1,500 per podcast episode. Chroma with the room, any colour, is 900 an hour.

Do you write the script and storyboard? Yes, if you want — scripts are a priced add-on rather than part of the shoot, so you can arrive with your own or have us write them.

Can you shoot at our offices instead? Yes — we shoot on location too, anywhere inside about 30 km of the studio. Events, real-estate launches, clinics and doctors, interior designers, construction sites — if it has to be filmed where it is, we come to it. On-location work is priced per project rather than by the hour, because the day depends on the place: tell us what and where and you get a number.

How long from brief to final video? The edit is 7 days at the most once filming is done, with two rounds of changes.

Do we own the footage? The finished video is yours, with no restriction on where you run it. The raw files stay with us by default — kept 30 days — and you can buy them for 1,000 EGP if you want the originals. Decide inside the 30 days, because after that they are cleared.
