Video editing in Cairo, priced per piece
Most editing is quoted by the hour, which means you learn what it cost after it is done. This is priced per episode and per clip, so you know before you send the files.
And you do not need to have filmed with us. Send what you have.
What we edit
Podcast episodes. Priced per episode, and the rate depends on how many cameras the recording used — two or three. A three-camera edit takes longer and is worth more, because each speaker has their own frame to cut to. 1,000 EGP per episode with two cameras, 1,500 with three.
Reels and short clips. Priced per clip, so a batch of ten costs ten times one and nothing is a surprise. Cut, captions burned in, sized per platform. 300 EGP per clip.
"Montage" just means edited. A booking is either with montage or without: with it you leave with the finished video, without it you leave with the footage and cut it yourself. There is no separate half-service.
General video montage. Cut, colour, sound, titles — for brand films, product video, interviews and anything else.
All rates on the prices page.
What an edit includes
- The cut, paced for where it will be watched
- Colour grading, in every edit, not an upsell
- Sound — levels, noise, music We supply the music and the licence is covered, so nothing you publish carries a claim.
- Titles and captions, included
- Revisions Two rounds are included.
Sending the footage
However suits you — Google Drive, WeTransfer, or a hard drive dropped at the studio. Drive is the one most people use, and it is how we send the finished work back.
Seven days at the most, whether it is one episode or a batch of reels.
We keep your footage for 30 days after delivery, so there is time to come back for another cut or a file you lost. After that it is cleared, which is worth knowing if you want the raw files — ask for them inside the 30 days.
Filmed somewhere else, or on a phone
Both fine. A phone-shot reel edits the same way a camera-shot one does, and the per-clip price does not change.
If it came from a podcast, tell us how many cameras — it decides what the clips can look like. See the podcast studio if you would rather record the next one properly.
Every week, not just once
Most of the editing here is recurring — a channel that publishes weekly, a brand that needs a batch of reels every month. That is priced as a package around what you actually publish, not per piece, and it works out below the per-episode and per-clip rates above.
There are agency packages as well, for anyone running several clients at once and needing a predictable number of edits a month.
They are on the prices page with everything else — 30 reels a month for 12,000, 60 for 20,000.
Or have us shoot it too
Editing is one step of the whole thing. For the shoot and the edit in one booking, that is video production — same studio, same people, one invoice.

Questions people ask
How much does video editing cost in Cairo? 1,000 per episode for a two-camera podcast, 1,500 for three, and 300 per reel. Recurring work is packaged instead — 30 reels a month is 12,000, 60 is 20,000.
Do I have to film with you? No. Editing is standalone, and most of it is footage shot elsewhere.
How long does an edit take? 7 days at the most, whether it is one episode or a batch of reels.
How many changes do I get? Two rounds, included in the price.
Can you edit for a YouTube channel every week? Yes. Recurring work is normal here — a weekly channel, a monthly batch of reels — and it is priced as a package built around what you actually publish rather than per piece. There are agency packages too, for anyone handling several clients. Ask and we will put one together.
