Photography studio in Cairo, by the hour
The same room that films podcasts shoots stills. The lighting is already rigged, the backgrounds are clean, and you pay for the hours you use.
UNO Production is in El Mokattam, Cairo — open every day, 10am to 10pm.
And it is a room genuinely set up for stills, not a video room that photography survives in — a surface for product work, a tripod, and modifiers to shape the light rather than just point it.
What is here for stills
- Lighting, rigged. Continuous LED, Nanlite throughout — FS-200 ×4, PavoTube 120 cm ×2 and 60 cm ×1, two optical snoots. No strobes, so bring your own if you shoot flash.
- Backgrounds. Green, white, black, pink and burgundy on a flat wall, and another colour if you ask ahead.
- The chroma wall, if the background has to be replaced later — see the green screen studio
- Space for the setup, the subject and the people watching.
- A fitting room, free coffee, and San Diego, the outdoor set — walls, a water fountain and stones, usable all day.
- Air conditioning, which matters more in a Cairo summer than any spec sheet admits.
- A surface for product work, a tripod, and modifiers — so a small product shoot does not start with you improvising a table.

Product photography — e-commerce sets, flat lay, packaging, catalogue work on a clean background.
Portraits and headshots — personal branding, team photos for a company site, actor and model work.
Stills alongside video — if you are already in for a shoot, the stills use the same room and the same hour.

Bring your own camera, or ours
Room only. You bring the camera and the photographer; we provide the space and the light. The usual way a photographer books a studio. Room-only is self-operated, two-hour minimum — 1,000 for the room, or 2,400 with the outdoor area as well.
Room and shooter. We shoot it. Yes — we can shoot the stills. Our crew rate applies: 1,500 an hour, the same flat rate as any crewed booking.

Questions people ask
How much is a photography studio in Cairo per hour? From 500 EGP an hour, two-hour minimum — the same rate as video hire.
What lighting is in the studio? Continuous LED only, all Nanlite: FS-200 ×4, PavoTube 120 cm ×2 and 60 cm ×1, and two optical snoots. No strobes — bring your own if you shoot flash, there is power and space to rig them.
Can I bring my own lights and modifiers? Yes. There is power and room to rig, and nothing about the space rules it out. Most people use what is already here, but if you shoot with your own strobes, bring them.
